The boss
Heather is a busy mom of two who keeps the office and Dr. Beaudet-Uy on track. She knows lots about everything and makes it look easy. Families regularly share that Heather keeps their appointment schedules on track. A former patient, she has been the office manager for 11 years.
Thriving on knocking tasks off her list.
Mom of two, tech savvy, and the manager of the practice’s posts, Lei brings her creative genius to the tech world. She is the calm in a storm and quietly keeps the team together. A patient during childhood, she is now a very welcome team member.
Being a low-key, almost invisible second in command upfront.
The gentle helpers who bring experience, comfort, laughter, and careful attention to each visit.
Mom of three young ladies, Miki has been part of Dr. Beaudet-Uy’s team for 30 years—minus a brief absence when her twins were born. She is the office’s most cross-trained team member and has handled every position in the practice.

She’s back!
Tanja is relatively new to the gang—only because there was a two-decade break while she tried different things and raised four children. She has a soft spot for little ones, keeps a special stash of goodies for patients who did a fabulous job, brings lots of laughs, and is a great storyteller.

AKA Sunshine
The newest member of the team but already a very strong one, Myra is the tallest and youngest of the group and has a mellow way of working with patients. She comes from a big family with lots of siblings, knows just about everyone who does sports on Hawaii Island, and always has a conversation going with the patient she is helping.

The aunty with the accent
Summah has been a part of our team for four years but a part of Dr. Beaudet-Uy’s family for nine. She is married to Dr. Beaudet-Uy’s second son, Dane, and has been able to manage their research projects on Hualalai while slipping in and helping at the practice. Our patients know her as the “aunty with the accent.” Summah hails from Aotearoa. When she is working, Dr. Beaudet-Uy’s granddaughter comes along and is the office “balloon girl.”

Obi-Wan joined the office in late 2019 and enjoys all the affection our patients and families give him.
Poha is a German Shepherd mix and one of the newest members of the practice family.
